Halal Tourism Workshops

On May 14th 2019, Department of Tourism (DOT), Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, and Sasin Management Consulting (SMC) team; led by Ms. Pruittiporn Nakornchai, Project Director, held a workshop on how to build the tourism environment to accommodate Muslim travelers due to their unique culture and religious practices. The guest speaker was Mr. Sukre Sarem, an expert at Muslim arts, history, tourism, and culture. Participants are business owners of hotels, restaurants, tour operators, and tour guides, along with tourism authorities.
The workshop was very well-received and SMC would like to thank all of the participants and parties involved.
